A little about me
My husband, two boys, and I have lived in Goffstown since 2019. Goffstown stole our hearts from the start and we continue to be grateful for the community we’ve found here. We love Glen Lake, the Uncanoonuc Mountains, skiing nearby, maple season, the pumpkin regatta, and our community’s educators.
At heart, I am a “connector.” I have worked in the nonprofit realm for over 15 years, most recently for 8 years as a grant coordinator for an organization bringing transformational education to eastern Congo.
I also currently serve on the board of Foster & Adoptive Resource Exchange (FARE NH), which supports foster, adoptive, and kinship families across the state with normalcy grants, memory-making events, and training for parents and community members. This experience has made me particularly passionate about providing a comprehensive, free, and appropriate public education for ALL children. Each child has a story and does not start from the same place when they arrive at school. We must adequately support each unique need for their flourishing.
Why am I running for school board?
I love Goffstown public schools. We now have one child at MVMS and one at Maple Avenue. Over the last six years we have witnessed firsthand teachers, school staff, and school administrators who have gone beyond their mandate, serving students and families with incredible quality, commitment, and empathy. We have seen this in decisions weighed for health and safety (during COVID-19 and recent safety conversations), implementing innovative solutions for academic and social success for all students, supporting community members through challenges and tragedies, and a sense of pride in their school community and their students. We cannot lose these excellent educators, or leave them ill-equipped or ill-supported to handle the heavy load of teaching the next generation. Turnover not only disrupts school community, it is also costly. Free, appropriate, public education for ALL children is protected by law, so we must voice concern over costly decisions at the state or local level that will just cost property owners more each year.
For the last few years, there have been loud voices in our community leaning far to either end of the political and socio-cultural spectrum. My desire is to work towards productive community conversation and to dwell in the “gray area” as decisions are weighed. Our children deserve this.

I will show up, listen, and learn. I believe in thoughtful, data-driven decision-making—because our schools deserve policies and budgets based on facts, not just opinions.

We all want responsible spending, and we all want great schools that prepare our kids for success. Let’s start with those shared values and create real pathways for open, productive conversations about the future of public education.
I would like to work towards clear school and school board communication, providing all residents with the facts for informed decision-making and voting. And please vote in all town elections. If you have kids in your home, or not. Please make YOUR voice heard in our community. We need you.
I wholeheartedly affirm the mission and guiding principles of the Goffstown School District and would like to serve along with the school board to advance these essentials.
Key areas of interest and importance to me are:
-
School safety
-
Retention and recruitment of excellent educators and administrators
-
Parent communication and collaboration
